SRK’s flick Ra.One in 3D?
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Ra.One’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2011. Buzz has it that ‘Ra.One’ has just got bigger and better for the film could make a big splash at the Box Office this Diwali as the actor-producer plans to release it in 3D format.
Buzz has it that ‘Ra.One’ DVDs will have alternate endings given the huge length of the film. Additionally, ‘Ra.One’ focuses primarily on action scenes and glossy visual effects, something for which SRK pumped huge amount of money.

New federal cabinet takes oath
22 members of new federal cabinet on Friday took oath in aewan-e-saddar Islmabad.
President Asif Ali Zardari has administered oath to them.

Lawyers fighting over the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange have returned to court Friday to make their final arguments in a high-profile case which has threatened to overshadow the organization’s secret-spilling work.

Andrew Symonds essays role in Bollywood flick ‘Patiala House’
Semi-retired Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds, it seems, is truly embracing India.
He has essayed a role in a Bollywood film – Patiala House – which features noted actor Akshay Kumar and actress Anushka Sharma – and is more or less likened to Gurinder Chadha’s Bend it Like Beckham.
Symonds is in demand in India, where the Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians bought his services for 850,000 dollars.

PIA suffers Rs 1.0 b loss due to strike
The national flag carrier has suffered a loss of Rs 1.0 billion due to the ongoing protest, said PIA General Manager Public Affairs, Mamoon Rasheed.
Talking to APP here on Thursday, he said passengers were being facilitated through private airlines including Shaheen Airline and AirBlue.
Today, all international and domestic flights were cancelled as the protesters blocked all entry and exit points besides locking the offices, he added.
Hajj scam: Kazmi’s arrest warrants issued
The arrest warrants for former religious minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi was issued, on Thursday, in connection with Hajj corruption case.
The Supreme Court (SC), earlier, had directed the authorities to take action against the former minister and Abdul Qadir Gilani, son of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
Sources close to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said the agency collected strong evidence of Hamid Saeed Kazmi’s alleged involvement in the Hajj scam and that he had received kickbacks in the Hajj operations.
