Naran valley is worth visiting especially in summers when we are having hot weather in our cities. On your way to Naran valley you pass through Balakot, Kiwai and Kagan valley. Naran valley and its surroundings are worth seeing and the temperature there is better enough to believe yourself away from summers.
Shogran is a plateau present on top of a hill near Kawai and is at 10km from it. The distance of Balakot from Islamabad is 220km and Kawai is 24km from Balakot. Shogran is a good place to stop for a night on your way to Kagan and Naran valley. Worth seeing places in Shogran are Siri and Pae lake which is not so far from there. The road to Siri and Pae lake is a jeep track and quite bumpy. Pine Park hotel is a very good to be stayed in. They have also got their hotels in Kagan and Naran valley.
The distance of Kagan valley from Balakot is 64km and from Kawai it is 40 km. Pine park hotel is at Khanian on you way to Naran. Worth seeing places in Kagan valley is Ansoo lake that is named due to its shape resemblance with tears.
Naram valley is at 21km from kagan valley. Naran valley has got many good hotel for the stay including P.T.D.C and pine park hotel. Worth seeing places in Naran valley are Saif-ul-Maluk lake, Lalazar, Dudipatsar lake.
