Information Secretary PPP Rawalpindi, Shujaat Haider Naqvi on Sunday said that PPP's Rawalpindi organisation has chalked out various programmes at zonal level to condemn this unconstitutional act on the part of a general and to renew the party's commitment with democratic principles and protection rights of the poor. A protest meeting would be held today at Liaquat Bagh. Later a protest rally would be held from Liqquat Bagh to Rawalpindi Press Club, he said adding that a large number of the party workers and masses are likely to participate in the protest demonstration to register their anger the toppling of a democratic government, he said. |
