Tune in to 'Rakhi Ka Insaaf' to solve your problems

Murder, robbery, drugs or extra-marital affairs -- whatever the problems, item girl Rakhi Sawant - who has a knack for getting into controversies - will now be seen solving them on Rakhi Ka Insaaf.

Known for her glamorous and often outrageous avatar, Rakhi looks forward to connecting with masses and common people through the show that will be aired on Imagine TV.

"The moment I was offered this show, I was extremely excited. I was told it is nothing like what I have done before. I always wanted a show where I could come face-to-face with aam janta (common man). This show will help me in solving their problems in my unique style," Rakhi told reporters here at a press conference.

The 31-year-old, who has been in the media glare for her frankness and bold attitude, will try to solve problems amicably.

"Mujhe kanooni daav pech nahi aate (I don't know legal terminology) but I know how to think from my heart. I will not provide any legal assistance to anyone, but I will listen to their problems and give the best solution that I can," she said.

Rakhi was earlier seen in the reality show - Rakhi Ka Swayamvar - where she selected Canadian business Elesh Parujanwala as her life partner and teamed up with him in another reality show Pati, Patni Aur Woh. But post Pati, Patni Aur Woh, the two parted ways.

Rakhi says her faith in god and her bent towards spirituality will guide her in taking the right decision on the show, which is being jointly produced by Moti Sagar's I am productions and UTV Teletalkies.

Rakhi says her show should not be compared to Kiran Bedi's Aap Ki Kachehri on Star Plus.

"I respect Kiran Bediji a lot, so please don't compare my show with her's. I have no knowledge about legal procedures. This show is like my social service," she said.

Moti Sagar, who has earlier given shows like Prithiviraj ChauhanSai Baba and Jai Shri Krishna, roped in Rakhi because of her past.

"Rakhi rose to fame from a grass-root level, she has been associated with common people and worked very hard to be what she is today. This show was conceptualised keeping her in mind," Sagar told IANS.

The channel has not announced when the show will go air.
