 Governor Gilgit Baltistan passed away due to cancer here on Wednesday.
According to the Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah, Dr Shama Khalid was suffering from cancer. Mehdi Shah also expressed his grief over the death of Dr Shama.
Dr Shama Khalid was the first Women Governor of Pakistan. She took the oath of
Governor of GB on 13th June 2010. |
