Manson beats Jackson to scariest video top spot

Rocker Marilyn Manson has beaten pop icon Michael Jackson to the top of a Halloween-related online poll to find the Scariest Music Video ever made.

Manson's 1999 promo for his cover of the 'Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' has been voted by the editors of Billboard.com as the most spooky one.

"When he (Manson) donned a ballerina costume and cut himself, rode a pig and convulsed uncontrollably in the video... he really freaked people out," said the website.

The video beat Jackson's 'Thriller' to the top spot, while Aphex Twin's 'Come To Daddy' was third. Ozzy Osbourne's werewolf video for 'Bark At The Moon' and Fever Ray's 'If I Had A Heart' round out the top five.
