Lindsay Lohan's New Home Is Next To Ex-Girlfriend's

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan's rocky relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson may have derailed but she's not ready to give up on her ex-flame yet. Us Weekly reports that the Mean Girls star is all set to move into a new home in Venice Beach, California, right next to Ronson.

The tumultuous Lohan-Ronson relationship and their messy breakup in 2009 has been cited as part of the reason for Lindsay's career and personal meltdowns. The 24 year old actress recently completed a court-ordered rehab stint to avoid jail on DUI charges.

The couple used to live in the same apartment building in Los Angeles' West Hollywood area but Ronson moved out last year amid used to reside in the same apartment building in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles, but Ronson moved out last year after a drama filled episode in which she changed the locks to her apartment. This hasn't discouraged Lindsay who has decided to follow Ronson across town

Ronson is said to be unhappy about the move and made her feelings clear when when Lindsay's father Michael was shifting things into the new place.

"Samantha walked out of the building next door. She was shaking her head and looking disgusted. She kept saying, 'I didn't plan it this way," a source said.

Lindsay seems unperturbed by her former lover's disapproval, Tweeting an inspirational quote from Mahatma Gandhi on New Year's Day, "Today is the first day of the rest of my life." The actress recently finished a stint in rehab, three months after she was ordered back for treatment by a judge for failing a drug test.

But it's not clear sailing for Lindsay ahead as she is facing assault charges over a clash with a worker at the rehabilitation centre. An investigation showed that she broke probation during the altercation and details will be sent to probation officers this week, a sheriff's department said.

If she is proved to have violated probation, Lindsay could end up in jail again, this time for a longer stay than her DUI related cell time.
