Responding to allegations of being sympathetic to former president Pervez Musharraf. Qureshi said that he
sided with Benazir Bhutto when asked to join Musharraf.
I refused to release funds for Musharraf referendum, Qureshi said.
Mehmood Qureshi said that he will never disappoint the nation, side with truth. He said that as foreign minister he was instructed to keep mum over Davis case.
I may have suffer consequences of speaking truth, said Qureshi.
Qureshi said that he will offer himself for accountability to the party leadership. Issue should be resolved with dignity and law.
He said that Pakistan-US both need each other. Pak-US dialogue upgraded on his insistence.
