Pakistan Blind team beat Australia by 61 runs


Pakistan Blind Cricket team beat Australia on Saturday in the 1st ODI by 61 runs at Park 25, Adelaide, Australia.
Australia won the toss and send Pakistan into bat. Pakistan had a terrible start of the innings as Pakistan lost both their openers on just 24 runs, Arfan Majeed was bowled on 7 runs and Muhammad Jameel the in-form batsman was bowled by Raymond Moxly after scoring 3 runs.
Pakistan lost its wickets in regular intervals, the wicket of Anees Javed left Pakistan in deep trouble, he scored just 8 runs and was bowled by Peter Robinson, says a

Pakistan at one stage was hovering around 130 runs and 5 of the top order batsmen were returned to pavilion and Australia were anticipating restricting the World Champions Pakistan to a meagre total.
But Muhammad Zafar came at No.7 position and turned the table around, he scored 98 runs on just 53 balls and Abdul Razzaq played a captain’s knock of 67 runs. They both added 140 runs for the 6th wicket partnership.
Pakistan was bowled out on 325 runs on the board in 35th over. Raymond Moxly took 3 wickets, while Peter Robinson and Bailie took 2 wickets each.
Australia in reply did well but fell short of the target of 326.
The Ausies scored 264 for the loss of 9 wickets in 40 overs. Heberley was the top scorer with 65 runs; Mathew Horseyand Lindsay Heaven scored 58 and 44 runs respectively.
Abdul Razzaq took 2 wickets while Yasir Andleeb and Waqas shared wicket a piece.
The Man of the Match was Muhammad Zafar. With this win, Pakistan has taken a 1-0 lead in the 3 ODI series and this is also the 22 one-day Internationals consecutive victory for Pakistan is the longest winning streak in International Blind Cricket.
