Priyanka Chopra not with Shahid Kapoor in Chandigarh!

Contrary to earlier reports, Priyanka Chopra did not spend the New Year with Shahid Kapoor in Chandigarh. So they are not a couple, right? 

If reports are to be believed, Priyanka and Shahid are not only dating, they will also be engaged in a while! What is more, Shahid Kapoor also made it a point to impress Priyanka Chopra's parents this New Year. 

According to the latest reports in the media, Priyanka Chopra did not visit Chandigarh to be with Shahid Kapoor, rather he made it to Goa to be with his ladylove and her family.

Thwarting all reports of spending the New Year with Shahid Kapoor in Chandigarh, Piggy Chops flew off to Goa with her parents and best friend Tamanna.

Patiala House makes Akki the real Khiladi

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is ready for the first release of the year Patiala House, which will be hitting the theaters on February 11. The promos of the film suggest that it is going to be a hit for Akshay, who has faced consecutive three failures in 2010 with Khatta Meetha, Action Replayy and Tees Maar Khan. Patiala House will make Askhay Kumar, the real 'khiladi' as he plays an aspiring cricketer in this film. His character is supposedly based on a real life cricketer Monty Panesar, who became the first Sikh representing England in cricket. This film also brings Akshay and his real life mom-in-law Dimple Kapadia on one screen as she plays his reel mother in the film. Rishi Kapoor will be seen playing his father, who is very tough with his principles. Patiala House will also see first time pairing of Anushka Sharma and Akshay Kumar and they are expected to rock the screen both being Punjabis in real life.

When Shahid flew to Goa

A Goa birdie who was chomping on piping hot chicken xacuti and sorpotel spotted Priyanka Chopra with Shahid Kapur ushering in 2011.

The couple were together in the land of feni! The actress had reportedly stated that she was in Goa strictly with family and friends sans her guy! Her lover boy was busy shooting for Mausam in Chandigarh. 

Looks like he winged his way to be by his girl's side before the clock struck 12 midnight.

Sanjay Dutt moves New Year's party to sister's house

So his babies won't be disturbed

The Dutt siblings -- Sanjay Dutt, Namrata Gaurav and Priya Dutt Roncon -- hosted a party for 60-odd people at Priya's Bandra home on New Year's Eve.

The guest list comprised close friends of the two sisters and Sanju Baba. It is a sort of an annual tradition. Initially, Mr and Mrs Dutt were to host the party but since they didn't want to disturb their two-month old twins, the venue was shifted to Priya and Owen's flat in the same building. 

According to an eyewitness, the menu was lavish and there was a lot of laughter, singing and dancing. The Dutt trio kept the food and wine flowing.

Among those present were Namrata's husband Kumar Gaurav, her in-laws and their two daughters, Priya-Owen, and her in-laws, Dharam Oberoi and his wife, Bunty Walia and his girlfriend Debi Dutta and some of Sanju's filmi friends like Gulshan Grover. 

Katrina and Salman: Truth is yet to be unfolded

The spotlight is on Katrina Kaif these days. The media's prying eyes in Katrina's private life seems to drive her nuts. After rumours of a split between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina, Bollywood were buzzing with rumours that Katrina was probably trying to make her relationship work with her ex boyfriend, Salman Khan. 

Quite a number of celebrities from tinsel town had flown to Dubai to celebrate the New Year and Salman was also one of them. Rumours were rife that Katrina will probably bury the past and join Salman in Dubai for the festivities. 

However, Katrina seems to be visibly upset with the news when the media confronted her with the gossips of celebrating Salman Khan's birthday in Dubai.

Katrina seem to be fuming in anger and remarked that she had no clue as who was responsible for spreading such gossips about her. Katrina further added that she was in Mumbai as she was busy rehearsing for an awards ceremony.
