Bollywood box-office report of the week

This Friday will see two totally diverse films, one that is a typical mushy romance while the other tackles the stark reality of the Naxal problem facing the country. Yes, the films in question are indeed Shahid-Kareena's MILENGE MILENGE and the Suneil Shetty and Sameera Reddy starrer, RED ALERT - THE WAR WITHIN. One feels that the makers of the long delayed MILENGE MILENGE should have released the film just after 10-15 days of its first promo and not waited any further, to reap the benefits of the initial hype. They have squandered a good opportunity! On the other hand RED ALERT - THE WAR WITHIN is a very topical film and may see some patronage at quality multiplexes.
