Daniel Radcliffe named richest British star under 30

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has beat off co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson to become the richest British celebrity under the age of 30.

In a ranking by Heat magazine, the 21-year-old actor grabbed the top spot with earnings around 45.6 million pounds, as Pirates Of the Carribean star Keira Knightley, 25, stood second richest at 30.1 million pounds.

Despite having more than 20 million pounds to her name from playing Hermione Granger in the seven films, a contract as the face of Burberry and modelling work for Chanel, Watson only made it to third place. Grint came fourth making 19 million pounds from playing Harry's sidekick Ron Weasley in the wizard franchise.

Twilight: Saga star Robert Pattinson, 24, who also appeared in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', was placed fifth, earning 18.5 million pounds.

Bleeding Love singer Leona Lewis was listed as the sixth highest celebrity star generating a 12.5 million pounds fortune winning The X Factor in 2006.

Other known names on the list included singer Cheryl Cole, 27, at the 14th place, with a relatively modest 7.9 million pounds income. Sienna Miller ranked 17, who at 6.1 million pounds was just below Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner, who amassed an estimated fortune of 7.5 million pounds.
