Updated at: 1951 PST, Sunday, July 04, 2010 LAHORE: Police have arrested six suspects from Data market located next to Data Darbar after reports of firing in the area, Geo News reported Sunday.Earlier, a report of a suspect entering Data Darbar panicked the devotees present there. The panic intensified further when firing was reportedly heard in the nearby market. Police arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area and after taking action arrested six suspects who were then taken to an unknown location. It is pertinent to mention here that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was scheduled to visit Data Darbar today but he has not arrived there till last reports received. |
