Filming on Justin Timberlake's new movie Now has stopped after the singer-actor injured himself on the set while pulling a stunt.
The Social Networking star was in Los Angeles filming the sci-fi film with Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried, when he was hurt after a stunt went awry, reported E! online.
"Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol's thriller Now. Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly," said the production company.
The 28-year-old actor was spotted on crutches last Thursday after the incident and is still awaiting the results of tests conducted the following day.
An insider added, "[He] hasn't heard anything about the MRI results, but they're freezing production until he's off crutches and able to act again."
