Lady Gaga To Release Her Album “Born This Way” on 23rd May

Lady Gaga finally announced on new year the release of her new album “Born This Way” the highly anticipated follow-up album to her breakthrough debut, the album will be released on 23rd May, 2011.



Lady Gaga made the announcement via her official Twitter page writing that the record will be released on May 23 and that the album’s title track will be made available on February 13. She also posted a picture of herself sporting a leather jacket with the album’s title written on the back.

Many details, including the album’s track list and cover art are still forthcoming, but the pop superstar Gaga has been performing a new track called “You and I” during recent live performances.

On 13 February 53 Grammy Awards of 2011 are also held. Lady Gaga is nominated for six awards, with the release date leading to speculation that she will perform the song at the ceremony.

Leading up to the announcement, Gaga teased with lyrics from ‘Born This Way’:

“I’m beautiful in my way, ’cause God makes no mistakes, I’m on the right track baby, I was Born This Way. Don’t hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you’re set. I’m on the right track baby, I was Born This Way.”

‘Born This Way’ is the follow up to 2009′s ‘The Frame Monster’ which was the biggest selling album in the world in 2010, shifting over 5.8 million copies.
