KARACHI:
Two BlackBerry cell phones belonging to assassinated former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto were handed over to the joint investigation team conducting an inquiry into her murder on Thursday.

According to initial reports, the caretaker of Bilawal House in Karachi handed over the phone sets to the investigation team.
The investigation team has sent the phones to a forensics laboratory.
According to Express 24/7, these cell phones were used by Benazir Bhutto on the day of her assassination.
Laboratory experts will analyse the data available in the two phones and will prepare a report to be handed over to the investigation team.
Earlier, investigation team managed to recover the cell phones of two leading suspects.
Prior to this, the suspects in the case SP Rawal Town, Superintendent Police Khurram Shehzad and former CPO Saud Aziz both refused to provide the cell phones they had used on the day of the assassination. Both suspects initially claimed that they had lost their sets, and later also reportedly provided the investigation team with fake phones.
