Quaid-i-Azam’s 134th birth anniversary
The nation is celebrating the 134th birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah today with enthusiasm and national spirit.
A 31-gun salute in the Federal Capital and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals would be given to the Founder of Pakistan. Special prayers will be held in mosques for the eternal peace of the Quaid-i-Azam and progress of the country he founded. National flag will be hoisted atop government and semi-government buildings. Christmas eve chaos as snow strands thousands in Europe
Thousands of travellers were stranded at Paris’ main airport Friday after the cancellation of hundreds of Christmas flights, as freezing weather and widespread snowfalls caused travel chaos across Europe.

Urdu Poet Qateel Shifai’s 91st birth anniversary is being celebrated today. Aurangzeb Khan was born on 24th December 1919 in Mansehra.
