Tenori-On have we seen so much buzz surrounding a niche music maker, and Teenage Engineering's OP-1 might just be the most anticipated synthesizer in the history of mankind. We've already seen just what it's capable of, and now it's starring in its very own music video. Better still, it's inching ever closer to shipping, with a recent newsletter affirming that it's 90 percent complete with respect to functionality. We're also told that it'll ship with a half dozen synthesizer engines and two sampler types, and a beta test is said to be "approaching." The outfit has just received its "golden sample" for the keyboard module, and it's waiting for a few more component suppliers to come through before belting out a final ship date. But hey -- at least you know it'll run $799 / €799, eventually. No time like the
exoskeleton three years ago, its sheer power and dexterity left us in awe... but as you can see immediately above, that wasn't enough for Raytheon. Today, the defense contractor's unveiling the XOS 2, a lighter, stronger robotic suit that uses 50 percent less power, and more importantly doesn't need to be tethered to a generator to drop and give us several hundred pushups. Video and a press release after the break doesn't specify the suit's military duties (they're focused on instilling the notion that the XOS 2 is a real-life Iron Man) but we can definitely imagine these causing some serious damage if Hammer Industries decided to weaponize that

What a difference a year makes.
Last November, when Apple (AAPL) first starting selling the iPhone in China -- the world's largest cell phone market with nearly 800 million subscribers -- analysts termed the launch a "disappointment." The queues of customers were underwhelming, and after four days of sales, China Unicom (CHU) had reportedly managed to sign up only 5,000 subscribers.
Contrast that with Saturday's launch of the iPhone 4. More than 200,000 Chinese customers had pre-ordered this model, according to China Unicom, and by 8 a.m., when the doors opened at Apple's new store in Beijing's Joy City shopping mall, the queue was more than 1,000 customers long.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will be hoping for third time lucky at next year’s Oscars, after the latest movie he produced was chosen as India’s entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category.
“Peepli Live” — a biting satire about the divide between rural and urban India and the problem of farmer suicides — beat 26 other films to be submitted for the longlist, Film Federation of India secretary general Supran Sen said.
Khan, who produced the film, welcomed the nomination and said it stood a “very good chance” of success.
Two other films he has produced have previously been selected as India’s official Oscar entry.

Another snake, a 4-foot (1-meter) -long cobra, was reportedly found at the tennis stadium in India on Monday.
India has come under harsh criticism for the state of the athletes’ village — including complaints about filthy conditions — infrastructure problems and even a snake found in the room of a South African competitor over the weekend.
The games village was supposed to be ready last week, but many teams have delayed moving in because cleaning and repair work have not been finished.
Indian workers raced to finish preparations on Monday for the Commonwealth Games as hundreds of athletes and team officials arrived in on New Delhi.
The city’s chief minister said she was confident they would complete the job ahead of the event’s opening on Sunday.
Members of the English team, who had been forced to check themselves into a hotel because preparations were so far behind schedule, moved into the games village Monday.
“The facilities are fine, and right now they are enjoying their lunch,” said Caroline Searle, spokeswoman for the England team.
New Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, who took charge of the work last week, has been seen traveling around the village in a golf cart in recent days to personally inspect the work.

Verve magazine Sept issue, has Deepika revealing a lot of stuff about her life and relationships. Taking about relationships, she says when she commits to a relationship, she’s fully into it.
For me, sex is not just about physicality; there are emotions involved. I have never cheated or strayed when I’m in a relationship. If I’m going to be fooling around, why would I be in a relationship? Deepika said.
Talking about infidelity she’s faced in her relationships, Deepika said she’s caught her boyfriend cheating on her red-handed.
The first time he cheated on me, I thought there was something wrong with me or the relationship, but when someone makes a habit of it, you know the problem lies with him. Yet I was foolish enough to give him a second chance because he begged and

MQM senior party leader Dr. Imran Farooq –KARACHI: MQM senior party leader, Dr. Imran Farooq may have been killed due to conflicts in his own party, a report in the Guardian stated on Sunday.
The report said that Farooq, who was stabbed to death in London earlier this month, may have been about to join a new political party set up by former president Pervez Musharraf and his assassination could have been linked to that.
Farooq’s assassination is being investigated by the Scotland Yard.
Also on Sunday, MQM Chief, Altaf Hussain said that the “international establishment” and a few powerful countries had planned a conspiracy to eliminate him and
just as expected, you can grab a GeForce GT 425M 1GB for a nominal $50 fee -- and there's a pair of standard-issue USB 3.0 ports to power some potent peripherals. The Vaio L touchscreen all-in-one, meanwhile, is getting a Blu-ray burner at the $2,199 level, and both the VAIO EA and VAIO EB have access to 2.53GHz Core i5-460M and 2.66GHz Core i5-580M processors for $130 and $230 premiums, respectively, as well as ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics for a mere $100. Like the NWV500, it's also available in colors of black, orange, and happiness-inspiring pink, and packs the same Circle Sound Stage speaker system for a full 360 degrees of tuneage. If you don't own an iPod, a 3.5mm audio jack is thrown in to connect other devices like Sony's S740 Walkmen -- double the imported Japanese audio gear, double the Cool Person Points, right?
