PTA to Set Standards for Cellular quality of service

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has compiled a draft to seek industry’s input to standardize quality of service for cellular voice and data services.
PTA is aiming to regulate these standards with the name of “Cellular Mobile Network Quality of Service (QoS) Regulations, 2010”, to ultimately introduce a mechanism for identifying the minimum quality of service standards and associated measurement, reporting and record keeping tasks for mobile companies.

They said raising levels of CREB-binding protein (CBP) -- a protein needed to create long-term memories -- improved memory in mice bred to develop Alzheimer's, a fatal brain-wasting disease that affects memory, thinking, behavior and the ability to handle daily activities.

Ruggiero joined US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a National Security Council meeting Tuesday at the White House that focused on the annual review of Afghanistan policy, State Department spokesman Philip Crowley said.
