By the time you read this, Lara Dutta will be Mrs Mahesh Bhupathi. The actress had a registered marriage with the tennis star in Mumbai today.

It was attended only by his and her family at the groom's Bandra residence. 

The actress wore a white outfit from designer Ritu Kumar's Falaknama collection. Later today, the Mr And Mrs will fly down after that to Goa.

There will be a sangeet on February 18 at Club Fresh, a newly opened beach resort on Candolim beach. It was chosen by the bride because of she felt it was ideal for her sangeet a blend of Goa and the west.

Kareena Kapoor showed up solo for Imran Khan's reception hosted on Saturday evening by his uncle Aamir Khan. Saif Ali Khan was shooting in far away Bhopal for Prakash Jha's Aarakshan. He could not attend the party.

But Deepika Padukone who was also shooting in Bhopal with Saif couldn't be kept away from the big evening. Not when Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao had personally called her to invite her.

Apparently Deepika flew into Mumbai from Bhopal by a chartered plane and flew right back. She was shooting in Bhopal till 8 pm. She caught the flight an hour later and headed straight for the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. 

After partying with Aamir and Imran till the wee hours she headed straight back to Bhopal early in the morning, catching a few snoozes on flight. She headed to location sharp on the dot for the morning shift on Sunday in Bhopal.

According to highly places sources, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together in a film directed by Kabir Khan, for Yash Raj Films.

She has been signed for two films for the banner. The second one stars Shah Rukh Khan, and will be directed by Yash Chopra. 

Says a source, "The film with Shah Rukh will be a romantic one and will go on floor by the end of this year. The SalKat starrer is an action-thriller-romance." 

While the SRK-Kat pair is interesting because they've never been paired together in a film, the SalKat jodi is exciting, given their personal history, and their hit films together.

Govt to accept court verdict on Davis: Gilani ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilanisaid on Wednesday said that the government's stance was very much clear on the US national Raymond Davis case and any decision by the court or the heirs of the deceased would be acceptable to it.

Speaking at National Seerat Conference here, he said that Davis' matter was before the court where proofs would have to be presented and it would decide the case. 

"The government has never asked the Foreign Ministry to write any summery on the issue and the Foreign Secretary has spelt out the government position and it is now for courts to interpret these things," the Prime Minister told Ulema and Mashaikh, who gathered here from across the country.

French researchers compared 388 men being treated for prostate cancer with 281 healthy men and found that those with the disease were twice as likely as the healthy men to have started losing their hair when they were 20.

If the men only started going bald when they were 30 or 40, there was no difference in their risk of developing prostate cancer compared to the healthy group.
