Five Ways to Explore the World

Say “cruise vacation” and one of two things will usually come to mind. Either a group of barely intelligible, completely inebriated college students, half dressed and headed towards Mexico on Spring Break, or a boatful of parents and small children, napping and coloring their vacation away on a floating amusement park. Now there’s nothing wrong with that kind of getaway, but if you’re craving something with a little more culture, it probably doesn’t exactly sound like a dream come true. However, that doesn’t mean that you should give up on the idea of a vacation afloat just yet. Have you considered a European cruise? If there is any part of the world that is almost tailor-made to be

Guzaarish Movie Review

GuzaarishCast: Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Monikangana Dutta, Suhel Seth

Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Rating: ****

Breathe a sigh of relief. During a year when cacophonic crassness masquerading as comic entertainment has been sanctioned by critics and the masses, "Guzaarish" comes along to remind us that excellence is alive in our cinema.

Ironically this wonderful work of art, nuanced and magical in its portrayal of an unstoppable spirit's quest to juice life to its fullest, is about dying. If the journey towards death in art can be so mystically explored, then let's embrace mortality as a stepping stone to immortality and a film about dying as a sign of cinema not dying on us. Only those who suffer the numbing pain of isolation would know what it feels like. Dilip Kumar in "Devdas", Guru Dutt in "Pyasa", Meena Kumari in "Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam" and Nutan in "Bandini" communicated to the audience the indescribable pain of

Ash, Kareena, Katrina, Sonam: Size-Zero or Flab?

Ash, Kareena, Katrina, Sonam: Size-Zero or Flab?Bollywood actresses have always been the trend setters of sorts, be it for fashion or looking pretty even after putting on weight in the right places to lose it proportionally.

Actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor to name just a few have had this problem of the flab looking a tad too good at times and making them look a little out of place sometimes.

Aishwarya who entered the industry with her demure yet sexy look has over the years put on a considerable amount of weight and yet has the panache of looking as beautiful as ever.

Kareena who forayed into films with her baggage of flab, lost kilos thereafter and went on to attain a size zero, only to get back into her normal shape after she kind of got bored with the pencil thin look!

Katrina who till recently had been on the flabby side, of course her bulges were in the right places giving her a
