Milenge Milenge fetches 8.6 cores for satellite

That’s really good for a film which faced problems during its making and later when it was about to be released, the lead actors where not interested in promoting the film for strange reasons.

Every actor can’t be Aamir who even after knowing that his film is being sold in profit left no stone unturned to promote ‘3 Idiots’ ensuring that the distributors get their worth. It’s sad for Boney who signed Shahid and Kareena for this project in 2004 when Shahid was four films old without a significant hit, on the other hand Kareena was senior and ‘Chameli’ has already stamped her as an actress with versatility. Now after 6 years both Shahid and Kareena are not willing to help Boney recover what ever he can.

The movie may not affect Kareena but Shahid should have been keen as in his nineteen film career stretching seven years so far, the so called prince charming of Bollywood has given only two genuine hit ‘Vivah’ and ‘Jab We Met’ and after the critical (not commercial) appreciation of ‘Kaminey’, Shahid has given four continuous flops. Whereas, the producer Boney has two back to back super hits ‘No Entry’ followed by ‘Wanted’.

Coming to the point, the satellite rights has fetched a handsome 8.6 crores and its an achievement considering that its fate at the Box office is yet to be decided.

The movie got delayed due to various reasons as it happens with Boney and his films, his ‘Wanted’ was delayed but Salman didn’t play spoil sport and it turned out to be a huge success. The lion hearted Boney didn’t lose hope and as ‘Wanted’ got a last minute help and ‘Milenge Milenge’ is finally hitting the screens this Friday but before that the satellite had already brought a smile on the producers face by giving him a handsome 8.6 crore.

Tom Cruise thanks Indians

The ‘Aamir Khan’ of Hollywood wants to visit India… The ‘Mission Impossible’ star has thanked his Indian fans for their love and kindness.

Tom Cruise recently turned 48 and he expressed his feelings in social networking site, which read, “A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful people of India for their birthday wishes and kindness... I'll see you at the movies Friday."

Tom is paired with Cameron in his upcoming film ‘Knight and Day’.

The film, slated for release in India on July 9, is an action comedy where Cruise and Diaz play a fugitive couple on a race across the globe amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals.

Shahid goes girly

Most of the top stars have tried the ‘girl’ formula earlier and now the gen-next dude Shahid Kapoor has tasted it as well.

For a vital scene in Boney Kapoor’s ‘Milenge Milenge’ Shahid said to have donned a girl’s get up. Hehe for his handsome looks, we believe, the actor would not have put much effort to turn into a pretty gal. And even director Satish Kaushik agrees on this. He said, “Many a times male actors dress up as women, but some of them can’t carry it off. However, Shahid is a good-looking guy and he had no problem carrying off this look.”

Hmm, being such a hunk, was the actor apprehensive about the girly act? The filmmaker denied this saying, “I didn’t have to convince him at all. He was absolutely cool with dressing up as a girl.”

Satish then went on to justify the sequence where Shahid plays a girl. The director revealed that in the movie Shahid and his friends plan to sneak into a girl’s hostel for one of their friend’s girlfriend’s birthday. So they all disguise themselves as girls and enter the premises. That’s when Shahid and Kareena meet for the first time; that is, they meet as two girls.

Satish considers it as an important moment in every movie when a hero and heroine set eyes on each other for the first time. So for ‘Milenge Milenge’ they have tried to be different.

Well, we hope this Shahid(a) indeed proves to be different from other heroes who had done the cross-dressing acts.

Helen wears the dancing shoes again after a decade

The entire audience in the cinema halls were clapping and whistling when Helen last danced on “O Haeena Zulfowali” of ‘Teesri Manzil’ with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Mohabbatein’ ten years back. Well the audience is again going to get a visual treat of her dance in Sunjay Sharma's film ‘Dunno Y.. Na Jaane Kyun’.

This time she is dancing on a Goan folk number. Originally she was supposed to dance on her Don's hit number “Yeh mera dil”. It would have been fun to see her again dancing on her song, specially after Kareena Kapoor has danced on the same number in Don's remake.

In fact in the film there was a dialogue in which Helen sportingly says “Jab Kareena ispe dance kar sakti hai to main kyun nahi” - reveals Kapil Sharma the writer and actor of the film.

But it seems the music company who holds the copyright of the song demanded an exorbitant amount to use the song which was totally out of budget for the producers of the film. “So we altered the dialogues a bit and made a fresh song,” said Kapil.

Interestingly this time she is dancing with a newcomer Yuvraaj Parashar who plays her grandson in the film. “Wow what energy she has even at this age, though she had a knee pain she danced like a livewire,” remarked Yuvraaj.

Mugdha’s bikini act makes mom red

Although her hot bikini stills are grabbing eyeballs, Mugdha Godse’s mom is feeling hot in head on seeing he stills. So much that she has even stopped speaking to her laadli beti for doing the scenes.

Clad in white bikini, Mugdha’s ‘Help’ stills garnered much attention since the day it came on media. But after seeing them the actress’s mother was not at all impressed and in fact was quite furious with her excess skin show.

Birdies found out that her mother was so upset with the scene in the movie that after seeing her photograph, she hasn’t spoken to Mugdha.

Yeah of course, one might have seen Mugdha in a bikini in Fashion, but she had worn with sarong. This time, the actress has bared it all and the pictures have irked her mother.

In turn the actress is also upset and she justifies that she had done it at the spur of the moment. What had happened was that, the director had requested Mugdha to do a bikini scene because he felt the lighting was perfect for such a shot. So Mugdha went ahead and did it but she had no time to inform her mother that she was doing a scene sporting a bikini. Poor gal…

Depressed with the outcome of the stills, the bala is hoping that things will be sorted out soon and her family will accept the facts.
