Monsoon rains begin in Karachi

KARACHI: The Meteorological Office has forecast cloudy weather with chances of rain/thunderstorm and with a few moderate/heavy falls at a few places in Karachi during next 24hours. The maximum temperature of 32 to 34 degrees centigrade is expected in the city on Saturday. Rain/thundershowers with a few moderate/heavy fall at a number of places in Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas and rain/thunderstorm at few places in Sukkur and Larkana divisions has also been predicted. The highest maximum temperature of 40.0 degrees centigrade was recorded at Nawabshah, Sindh and Turbat, Balochistan and lowest minimum temperature of 16.5 degrees centigrade at Kalat hill station on Friday.
