Lindsay Lohan into rehab from jail

Lindsay Lohan into rehab from jail NEW YORK: On her previous trip to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., in 2007, Lindsay Lohan was incarcerated for just under 90 minutes after arrests for drunken driving and cocaine possession.

On a return visit, she was there only slightly longer: An international news agency reported that Lohan, the 24-year-old “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” star, was released from the jail on Monday at 1:35 a.m. Pacific time, having been jailed for less than two weeks of a 90-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation.

The A.P. said Lohan would have to fulfill the rest of her sentence at a rehabilitation center.

On July 20 she surrendered herself in the Beverly Hills courtroom of Judge Marsha Revel of Los Angeles County Superior Court, having missed a May parole hearing stemming from the 2007 arrests and after a court-ordered monitoring device detected the presence of alcohol.
