A newborn child has been named Sailab (flood in English) Khan by his parents in Obaro

OBARO: A newborn child has been named Sailab (flood in English) Khan by his parents in Obaro – one of the flood-stricken areas of Sindh.

The news of naming the
baby as Sailab Khan brought smile to many a faces in what generally appears to be a bleak situation caused by the devastating floods across the worst-hit province.

The family of the newborn, hailing from Kashmor and although facing desperate circumstances in the flood situation, was excited on the birth of Sailab Khan.

A few days back the family was delighted that a newcomer is on the way to come into this world for becoming part of it. But before it happened a worst flood hit their area and they had to leave their house, looking for a safer place.

Having no money in pocket and no food to eat the family was helped by other villagers in their shifting to Ghotki. Azmat Bibi, mother of the child, was provided shelter in a girl’s school where she gave birth to a baby boy having an angel-like glowing face.

With pictures of flood in their mind, the parents named the newborn Sailab Khan.
