Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ roars at box office

The queues at the box office are unending. With the onset of the festive season people are thronging to theaters in droves to watch Salman Khan/’s latest film Dabangg, which has opened to an exceptional audience response.
Trade reports say the movie opened to almost 97 percent occupancy at single screen theaters. Many multiplexes across the country ran to house full shows. And if this bum rush continues, there’s every chance that Dabangg will beat this year’s highest grosser (opening weekend) Raajneeti. It may come close to equalling the record created by Aamir Khan’s monster hit 3 Idiots, released in December last year.
Needless to say, producer Arbaaz Khan is walking on the air.
“Dabangg opens to packed houses all over. What a feeling !!! Want to thank Salman, Sonakshi, abhinav, sonu and the entire team of Dabangg !!” Arbaaz tweeted.
The movie has already got huge praises from the
film industry with Aamir Khan calling it Salman’s best work to date.
Introducing Sonakshi Sinha, Dabangg was made on a budget of Rs 18 crores. It is surely going to bring huge profit for distributors.
