Ufone nominated for international award

 

Ufone is the only Telco brand in Pakistan to have been shortlisted for 'The Best Brand 2010'.

ISLAMABAD: Ufone has been nominated for the Best Brand Award by the ‘World Communication Awards (WCA)’ committee. Their
competition for the prestigious award include Etisalat, Grameenphone, Idea Cellular, Telstra Enterprise & Government, Turk Telekom and Verizon Business.
This nomination follows an earlier nomination of Abdul Aziz, CEO &President Ufone for the Best CEO of the Year Award 2010.
Ufone is one of seven companies worldwide, and the only one in Pakistan to have been shortlisted for ‘The Best Brand 2010′.
Commenting on this nomination, Akbar Khan, Chief Marketing Officer Ufone said “At a time when distress has over-ridden the country, this news comes as a source of inspiration and great pride for Pakistanis”.
