ISLAMABAD: Former president Pakistan Farooq Ahmed Khan Laghari has died of ailment at the age of 70; here at a local hospital on late Tuesday, Geo News quoted official television sources as saying.
According to government television channel, hospital sources said he was a heart patient and was under treatment for heart-related disorders.
Farooq Laghari breathed his last at 1:45am, hospital sources confirmed to
government media.
He was on ventilator due to
deteriorating health conditions.
Family sources have confirmed his said demise. His body will be laid to rest in his native town Dera Ghazi Khan, channel sources further told Geo News.
His funeral prayer would be offered in his native city Dear Ghazi Khan at 4:00pm today.
