Radcliffe, Watson doubtful about return to Harry Potter

Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are not keen on returning to the wizard franchise after the final film is released.

While Radcliffe has termed playing the lead character of Harry Potter anymore as "very doubtful," his co-star has said that she would want to "explore" new areas, Hollywood Reporter said.

"Oh God, she promised me categorically that there wouldn't be another book involving Harry. I think 10 years is a long time to spend with one character," Radcliffe said referring to an interview by author JK Rowling where said she is considering writing more Harry Potter books.

Even Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the screen adaptation, is not looking to reprising her role.

"[Being cast as Hermione] happened when I was very young and this was one role and it has transformed the whole of my life but it doesn't necessarily mean this is what's going to make me happy. I want to be able to explore a few other things as well," the 20-year-old actress has said.

The first part of the seventh and final edition in the saga, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1', will hit the silver screen on November 19, with the second part releasing in July 2011.
