Bollywood's much awaited Christmas release 'Tees Maar Khan' seems to have received good response at the UK box office as the film is approaching a staggering 100,000 pounds declaring it to be one of the highest yielding Bollywood films in the UK so far. For a few shows scheduled on December 21 and 22 at selected theatres 'Tees Maar...', directed by Farah Khan and starring Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif has already grossed 71,623 pounds.
"This makes the film already one of the highest previews ever for an Indian film in the UK," a release by the film producer said on Friday.
'Tees Maar...' sees actor Akshay Kumar essaying the role of 'half' Robinhood who robs rich people but gives nothing to poor with actress Katrina Kaif portraying the role of an aspiring actress.
The film is produced by Three's Company, Hari Om Entertainment Company and UTV Motion
pictures.
