Unveiled: Lady Gaga's eight wax statues




Pop star Lady Gaga has become the first celebrity to have her eight statues unveiled at Madame Tussauds worldwide.

The 'Paparazzi' hitmaker wax models flashingh her famous outfits were displayed yesterday at London, New York, Las Vegas, California, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong museums, Contactmusic reported.

"It's been quite a challenge to keep details of eight figure launches top secret but the fans certainly seem to have enjoyed the intrigue," said General Manager of Madame Tussauds London Edward Fuller.

The 24-year-old singer's London statue sports Philip Treacy telephone hat teamed with a midnight blue jacket and flared trousers paired with high-heeled shoes.

While the Hong Kong figure stands tall wearing a black body suit with oversized neck ruff and has platinum blonde hair whereas the Berlin's model wears black satin body suit with leather belt and silk jacket.

Shanghai's Lady Gaga is in black trousers and top with boots and stripe make-up over one eye while Madame Tussauds Amsterdam's model wears a nude body suit with white blazer and towering purple hair piece over waist-length platinum blonde locks.
Eight models are reported to have cost whopping $ 2.4 million and took four months to complete.
