US national DeHeaven sent on judicial remand

The Judicial Magistrate in Peshawar sent the detained US national Aaron Mark DeHeaven on 14-day judicial remand on Saturday.
The arrested American national was nabbed on Friday on charges of illegally staying in the country after his Visa expired in October last year. Police say Deheaven, who runs a security agency named ‘Catalyst Services’, was arrested from University Town here.
The American was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate Qudratullah on Saturday where he told the Pakistani government had issued him licences for different assignments.

He maintained that had invested much in the country and there would be no one to take care of his business in case he would be deported to United States.
DeHeaven requested the court for concession which was subsequently rejected. The court, however, directed the accused to submit the relevant documents. The accused could also file a bail petition in 14 days, the court said.
