Although the promos of Priyadarshan's upcoming KHATTA MEETHA have been doing the rounds across numerous television channels and web portals for quite sometimes but none (in fact not even the makers!) could have fathomed the extremely positive response that the theatrical trailer that was unveiled with Karan Johar's I HATE LUV STORYS would see.
Those who went to watch the Punit Malhotra directed Imran Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer were pleasantly surprised to see the extended trailer of the Akshay Kumar-Trisha starrer, KHATTA MEETHA. The hilarious promo saw the audience break down into peels of laughter and some were heard commenting that they would love to see the film on the first day and first show.
Well, one must commend the publicists who have done a good job of bringing out the best of the film in a short time through the trailer. The presence of comic stars like Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever too raises laughs and makes one look forward to the movie, apart from of course, the reigning king of comedy Akshay Kumar who is at his hilarious best!
The whacky and zany taglines too are making the audience laugh. Sample this, 'Come July 23rd, Sachin Tichkule promises you a road full of potholes' and 'From the insane mind of Priyadrashan'.
The superb response to the trailer just goes to show that the film will see a good opening when it releases all over on July 23rd.
