VIDEO: Shakira’s going to get fined for dancing in a public fountain

Barcelona officials are upset at the sexy singer after Shakira and a few fans took a dip in the famous Pla de Palau fountain while shooting scenes for her upcoming video.

It probably would have been nice if she would have

asked. I understand that she’s super hot and super famous and probably just needs to gyrate for a second to get anything that she wants, but if you’re going to be dancing in fountains and recording footage for a video, you probably just want to run it by some folks first.

After seeing YouTube footage of her dancing in the famed Pla de Palau fountain with fans and riding on the back of a Harley  Davidson motorcycle without a helmet, Shakira, 33, could face fines from the health and safety brigade.

On the other hand, officials probably wouldn’t have given the singer the permission had she asked, so I guess I can see why she would just bypass the asking part and just hop in like she owned the place.  Although inviting a bunch of fans in to dance with her was a bit much. You don’t have to show a lot of respect for the fountain, but show some respect for the fountain.
