LG unveils Slimmest OLED TV Ever

We have always mentioned that technology is evolving in such a fast way that we might feel left behind if not followed closely. The same thoughts were for LG’s newest television. It’s not just a
television, but it’s the thinnest television ever and that too, an OLED TV.
LG has unveiled what the brand calls the ‘thinnest & slimmest OLED TV ever’. This LG display measures 0.29-cm in thickness while its screen measures a good 31 inches. In regards to that, LG is rumored to showcase a prototype OLED TV at the IFA 2010 in Berlin by next week. This LG OLED TV supports 2D and 3D modes and not forgetting, a refresh rate of 600 Hz. Along with this TV, LG is introducing three other 3D-capable displays which are the 0.88-cm LG LEX8, the LEX9, and the PX950N 3D TVs. These TVs will be unveiled at IFA 2010 on September 3. Word has it that the OLED TV will be priced at $5,000.
