Tom Felton revelling in new found freedom

Harry Potter baddie Tom Felton is enjoying his new-found freedom to dye his hair, sunbath or go skiing after finishing his work for the wizard franchise this summer.

The 23-year-old actor, who from the age of 12 played the evil Draco Malfoy in the movie series, said that he spent a decade without a change in his appearance and was barred from taking part in dangerous activities, Contactmusic reported.

However, the British actor is relieved that his contract has ended as he finished filming the last movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

"I feel a real mixture of emotions. There is a little bit of sadness, but at the same time there is excitement. For the past decade we haven't had much freedom to do other projects. I certainly haven't had much freedom to keep my own hair colour, or lay in the sun, or do anything remotely dangerous like skiing," Felton said.

"It was nice to go on holiday and not have to slap on the SPF 50 and sit under an umbrella with three caps on," he added.
