An additional district & sessions judge (AD&SJ) on Monday sought comments from Station House Officer (SHO) Shalimar Police Station till January 24 on a petition seeking directions for the registration of a case against actress Veena Malik.
AD&SJ Mehr Muhammad Yousaf passed the order on a petition filed by Mian Muhammad Iqbal R/O Baghbanpura, Lahore, in which he made DIG Police, SHO Shalimar, Lahore and actress Veena Malik as respondents.
The petitioner pleaded that actress Veena Malik committed immoral and unislamic acts during her
recent performance in an Indian reality show and the same was also reported in local press.
He requested court to order police for registration of a case against her for committing unislamic acts.
