Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) to be celebrated with religious fervour

Eid Milad-un-Nabi,the birthday of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) will be celebrated with religious reverence and enthusiasm in the provincial metropolis like other parts of the country on Wednesday.
Milad celebrations will begin right after Fajr namaz with special prayers at mosques and religious seminaries.
Conferences and meetings on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) will be held in different parts of the city where speakers will highlight various aspects of `Uswa-e-Hasna’,the sacred life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a source of guidance for the
mankind.
Main procession of Eid-e-Milad will be taken out from the area of Lahore railway station under the aegis of Central Committee for Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi in the morning which will be joined by a large number of fiathfuls who would recite ‘Darood Sharif,Naat and Hamd-o-Sana’.
Prior to the procession,a Seerat Conference will be held which would be addressed by prominent speakers.
Scouts from various schools and colleges, national volunteers, Civil Defence, Labour Force, Janbaz Force, Police and Rangers will present salute on this auspicious occasion.
Rose-petals would be showered on the participants of the procession and the conference through an aeroplane.
The route of the procession has been profusely decorated with buntings and banners inscribed with reverence notes for the Holy Prophet (PBUH), while welcome-stages have been established at 120 different points along the route. Public and private buildings, markets, houses, roads and streets have already been decorated.
Various other Milad processions will also join the main procession at different places of the route. Special prayers will also be offered for unity of Muslim Ummah, and progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The main procession after following its traditional route along railway station, Australia Chowk, Brandreth Road, Guwwal Mandi, Mayo Hospital, Abbott Road, Anarkali, Mori Darwaze and Bhati,will culminate at Data Darbar where Administrator corporation will perform Dastar Bandi of the leaders of the procession.
The City adminstration has also tailored an elaborate plan to supply drinking water to the participants of the procession, besides providing them other gifts and edibles.
Medical camps will also be set up to facilitate the participants of the procession, while Rescue 1122 Emergency Service, Bomb Disposal Squad, Fire Brigade,Civil Defence and Police personnel will remain alert to deal with any untoward incident.
Mosques, religious seminaries, shrines, government buildings, houses, streets, bazaars, markets, and other public place will tastefully be decorated for the auspicious occasion. Mahafil Naat and Hamd-o-Sana will be held in different places in the provincial capital.
