Ghana make two changes for Uruguay clash

JOHANNESBURG: Ghana made two enforced changes for their World Cup quarter-final with Uruguay at Soccer City here on Friday.

Coach Milovan Rajevac brought in Hoffenheim defender Isaac Vorsah for the suspended Jonathan Mensah, while Inter Milan midfieler Sulley Muntari came in for Andre Ayew, also banned.

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez also made two changes to his team with injured defender Diego Godin replaced by Mauricio Victorino and midfielder Alvaro Pereira out for Alvaro Fernandez.

Ghana are bidding to become the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.
