14th August: The Independence Day

14th august is not just a date in a calendar but it is a symbol of our liberty. Our forefathers have spent their lives to earn this liberal country, a country where we can practice Islamic beliefs. It is a country in which we can live freely without being burdened by our enemies. We can proudly say that we are independent, but after striving for many years we still feel fraught. Apart of all these issues and political background of our country we still live our lives as a proud nation.
After so many losses and grieves one cannot celebrate wholeheartedly. But
the fact is time waits for none. We are upset at our losses but one have to move on. We have to make our people happy who are suffering from so much fear and misery. We should not just share their sorrows but should also make them laugh and enjoy the moment of being independent. We should try to diminish their sorrows and not to make them feel sadder.
This time it is a different scenario of Independence Day that has mixed feelings of being sad and happy. Many people have raised national flags on their roof tops, decorated with small paper flags and many more. Enjoyment and thrill of 14th august is very enthusiastic with roaders enjoying on bikes and cars with flags in their hands. Girls in white and green dresses, kids with face painting of flag enjoy this day with full zeal. Apart of all situations in our country we still know how to enjoy every single bit of independence. Though many people are trying to tear our country apart but our army is striving for our safety on borders so that we can feel relaxed and calm. We are proud of our army and with their help our country is building up every second. No one can let us down and can’t shatter the backbone of our country and make it weak. We are still a proud nation.
