Singer Mika Singh turns life saviour

MIKA SINGH

Singer Mika Singh came to the rescue of an injured and profusely bleeding accident victim in the early hours. Mika, accompanied by singer Rahul Vaidya, was returning home at 4.30am in his Toyota Fortuner car when he saw a crowd gathered on the road at Mumbai's 7 Bungalows area. There seemed to have been an accident presumably a few minutes ago on the other side of the road. On closer inspection they saw a dented Silver Mercedes next to which lay on the ground an injured boy with his motor bike on the road beside him. The boy was bleeding and his body had severe cuts across his neck etc. The crowd around the accident victim was hesitant to take the person to the hospital out of fear of being involved in a police case.

The driver (and owner) of the dented Mercedes car was still inside the car and seemed to be in shock. Since the injured boy was losing blood fast Mika decided to help the victim and immediately picked up the boy and with help of Rahul Vaidya and took him to the nearest hospital Kokilaben Ambani. Along with the injured boy they also took the driver of the Mercedes involved in this accident, so that a proper police case could be registered. The driver, himself in shock from the accident, needed a doctor as well.

An FIR has been registered against the Mercedes driver (named Sameer) at the Versova Police Station while the injured victim has been admitted to the ICU at the hospital.
