Police arrests last accused ASI Waris Ali in two brothers lynching case



 

Punjab Police have arrested last accused ASI Waris Ali in lynching of two brothers’ case at Sialkot and presented report in the Supreme Court (SC) in this respect.

According to details, a three -member bench of SC led by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing of the suo motu case of lynching of two brothers Tuesday.
During the course of hearing Punjab Advocate General Khawaja Haris informed the court absconding accused Waris Ali has been court arrested.
The CJP remarked negligence of any sort would not be
tolerated in this case nor the police would be allowed to spoil this case. The SC would monitor this case on its own.”
The court while summoning RPO has adjourned the hearing of the case till September, 27. The court also directed the police to complete all the proceedings and present comprehensive report.
